Right before departure, one of the passengers on my flight had a medical emergency. She lost consciousness and stopped breathing. In spite of heroic efforts by fellow passengers who immediately started giving her CPR and the ambulance crew and doctor taking over, they weren’t able to bring her back. Life can really be so fragile. You never know what might happen. I feel so sad for this beautiful woman whose life ended so suddenly. At the same time I am grateful that I know that this life is not the end. Her Heavenly Father will take good care of her. And He has a plan for her and for every one of us. It’s a good reminder for me to be grateful for my health and to try to cherish each day. Let’s make sure the people we love know it.
